Prelude 3 - French Macedonia

Down in deepest French Macedonia

Dogs go woof!

Cats go miaoow!

Sheep go baaa!

Cows go mooo!

Lots of other animals, make sounds too.

Pigs go oink!.... (well, nearly...)

Horses go whinnie or neigh – (some might say.)

Donkeys go  hee-haw! If they don’t get their way.

Ducks go quack.. and geese, well they just honk!.. (poooo!)

But, there’s a country that lies far to the East.

Before the Urals and the Steppes at least – where...

(Pass me a map and I’ll be showing yer...)

It’s called by some to be French Macedonia.

A little Gallic corner or a Russian former

That has animals that behave quite ridiculously

Who’ve learned to make sounds oppositely sillilly..
